It’s important to find the right people for our team, and in turn we strive to help our people achieve the right balance. We want to deliver excellent service to our customers and allow you to build your career, without sacrificing your personal priorities. We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we welcome applications from candidates whose experience matches our criteria and who require some flexibility in their working arrangements.

When not setting modern software development trends, we are adopting them years ahead of most other companies. Hindsight's CEO/CTO is a regular conference speaker on programming, agile software development and software testing, so you will get exposed to cutting-edge techniques. But it’s not just speakers who get to go to conferences; investing in our people goes hand-in-hand with developing a great product, so all team members get the opportunity to attend conferences and training. In addition, everyone receives mentoring and personalised training from the senior team, and there are opportunities for ambitious people to move to a more senior position.

Who are we?

Hindsight Software is a small but growing company based in Epsom, Surrey but with a global market. We create enterprise-grade tools and provide training to help companies integrate behaviour driven development (BDD) into their software development process. BDD is an analysis technique for discovering and communicating software requirements between business stakeholders and software developers, which is a common failure point in many projects. Our client industries range from e-commerce and retail, to regulated environments such as medical software and banking.

How to apply

If you would like to join our team, please send your CV and a covering letter to Alan Parkinson. Since CVs can be a little boring (especially if we’re reading lots of them!), please use the letter as your opportunity to stand out from the rest and tell us why you’re the best person to join our team in this role.

We don’t have a lengthy, multi-stage selection process. We will select interesting candidates as applications are received and arrange a telephone interview, which would be followed by a face-to-face interview.
